Papua New Guinea a Haven of Biodiversity & Birds of Paradise

Survey of all birds show that there are 781 Bird species in Papua New Guinea. Record also shows that there are 38 species of Birds of Paradise in PNG, out of 43 known species in the World. With almost 90% (88.37%) of Birds of Paradise found in PNG we have compelling reason to say that Birds are indeed a major attraction for tourists, film makers and scientists.
